INTRODUCTION (LEVEL I) - 2 DAYS
In this seminar, the aesthetician will acquire the basic knowledge of all the G.M. Collin face care products, including the method of application, to ensure the optimum results for the treatment of all skin types and conditions. The aesthetician will have the opportunity to observe the efficacy/performance of 4 of G.M. Collin’s specialized clinical treatments through demonstrations. This easy-to-follow seminar will provide the aesthetician with the knowledge and techniques to successfully utilize, prescribe and retail the face care products.
INTRODUCTION TO G.M.COLLIN TECHNOLOGY (INTRO II) - 1 DAY
An introduction to the dominant active ingredients and their functions will be presented to provide increased knowledge of the face care products.
SKIN DIAGNOSTICS - 1 DAY
This seminar studies skin analysis, including both skin types, conditions, and disorders to ensure proper skin diagnosis and evaluation are provided by the aesthetician prior to the commencement of the skin care treatment. Various factors affecting physiological aging, such as glycation, free radicals, etc., will be discussed. An interactive workshop will help the aesthetician to prescribe the appropriate personalized skin care program for their clients.
RECEPTIONIST TRAINING - 1 DAY
We will explore the impact and importance of this significant role in the spa. The receptionist will discover interpersonal “tips” for dealing with clients, treatment recommendation and easy techniques to “add on” services when booking, basic product knowledge and products that can be recommended to everyone.

THE REFRESHER
Education being the secret to success, this ½ day seminar will give a full review of G.M. Collin’s latest new products and technologies. This class is the perfect update to enable the aesthetician to enhance their knowledge. A demo of the Sea C Spa will be performed.
CHEMICAL PEELS
In this class, we will discuss the world of AHA’s, BHA’s, sources of acids and complementary actives. Information will be provided on how to prescribe a successful series with your clients based on all skin types and conditions. A must attend for those wanting to enhance their treatment menus with some of the most sought after ingredients in the industry. Demos with the Salicylic and Glycolic Acid Peels will be performed.
HORMONAL IMBALANCES
The physiological changes that occur in the skin due to hormonal fluctuations will be presented as well as examining some of the latest discoveries and active ingredients to assist with the treatment of hormonally disrupted skin to ensure you are well equipped to educate and treat the increasing number of clients with these concerns.
ACNE IMPERFECTIONS & CORRECTION
This seminar will review the various forms of acne, truths and myths surrounding acne occurrences and treatments, and discover which active ingredients actually provide dramatic results without the risk of damage to the skin.
SKIN SENSITIVITY - SYMPTOMS, CAUSES & TREATMENT
Explore the often neglected link between dehydrated skin and sensitivity. In this seminar various "hypothesis" surrounding rosacea will be discussed as well as the latest ingredients available to effectively treat all of these often misdiagnosed skin conditions.
TODAY’S AGING FACTORS
Many causes of premature aging of the skin that will be presented as well as the physiological modifications the skin undergoes related to aging; Glycation, Free Radicals, the Inflammation Cascade are just a few of the damaging processes that will be discussed along with solutions to rectify these severely aging processes of the skin.
BUSINESS ANALYSIS FOR OWNERS/MANAGERS
Those who have the ability to make a connection with all of the salons personnel and clients is generally the one that achieves the highest level of success. In this seminar we will provide a proven method to assist you in making that connection. That in combination with a study of various metrics pertaining to customer retention, increasing sales per client, and room utilization will be discussed among others to increase the salons sales and profitability.
MERCHANDISING
This seminar introduces the basic principles of merchandizing and the impact it has on the salons sales. G.M.Collin’s merchandizing planogram will be presented as well as visuals of a variety of creative product displays. Statistical data will be presented reflecting the sales increases that can be achieved by applying the fundamentals of merchandizing in the salon.
CLINICAL & HOME CARE PRESCRIPTIONS
These seminars will offer in-depth information on the designated topics. Physiology of the skin in relation to these specific conditions as well as facts and myths will be addressed. Details concerning specific active ingredients, products and treatments to achieve visible results will be discussed.
